If you want great food there is no other place to go in SE CT. Chef James Wayman varies the menu every day depending on what is fresh and available.his cooking brings out the inner voice of the food he is cooking and unlike most of the other "fine dining" restaurants in the area, he does not add silly sauces that detract from the food he is making that day. Dessert chef, Melody Pere, isn't far behind James. Her brown butter almond is great that foodie friend went back there several times in one to eat three servings.
And the oysters and little necks are as fresh as I have ever had.
A great selection of beers. And the wine list now has a terrific selection of interesting and very good wines.
So that's the story. We go there all the time and really don't want to go anywhere else unless we are in the mood for pizza.
