Good for: Families with children
Description: Jake’s stands for fresh food, crafted to order while you wait, and the wait is half the fun. Watch milk shakes being made the old-fashioned way, thick and creamy with real ice cream in a blender, served in metal cups to keep them cold and flavorful. Likewise, you can see that the burgers are made to order and hearty, not “hockey pucks.” Jake’s does not serve fast food from under a heat lamp. A Jake’s burger is a satisfying meal, with all-American sides like fries and onion rings to round out your lunch or dinner. We love families stopping in, but also offer takeout. Call, fax or order on line. Check out our "Burger of the Month" and our "Shake of the Month." And don't forget, with our wide selection of shakes every day, you probably haven't had them all! Daily specials include house-made potato chips in a variety of flavors. For hot dog aficionados, nothing beats a genuine grilled dog. Should you not eat red meat, try a chicken or turkey sandwich, or a salad.

Catch the news or game while eating. Brewed iced tea is good. If you like Onion rings, they are tasty. Build your burger to suit. They aim to please.

Compared to Five Guys, Jake's need a little work. The counter is in the center, so most tables are in the middle of the ordering/kitchen area. The staff seems to show up and disappear. The expeditors yell out your name (a pet peeve of mine) when your meal is ready and run around delivering food. Our burgers were good as were the onion rings, but the overall design and staff chaos kept us from sitting back and enjoying our meal.

Amazing handmade burgers, fresh cut fries and thick delicious milkshakes. This is where my family goes for that extra special take out meal. Juicy, fresh food and easy to get to.

We enjoyed the food. Had allergy friendly options with a dedicated GF frier for the fries and homemade potato chips. We enjoyed the burgers, hot dogs, fries and chips, which all were cooked and served quickly. Definitely will go again.

The food is a 5 all the way, if you want the food thiss good you need to wait for it to cook. The service, the second time the young blonde girl was great.. The first time the young man, not so great. But I won't base the visit on him
