Good for: Bar scene, Families with children, Business meetings
Dining options: Late Night, Lunch, Dinner, Reservations, Takeout
Description: We offer healthy and tasty eastern cuisine, prepared in the manner of native Thailand - slightly adjusted and specialty menued for taste - with a western presentation. We use only fresh ingredients and add no MSG. Every meal is cooked separately, which allows us to meet special needs of our customers (such as gluten free diet or various allergies). Our restaurant was designed to present a casual/classy cafe-like environment in which our customers can enjoy both a traditional dining room and a lounge area with the full bar

This restaurant is so much better then the name. We love Thai food and this is the best we have had in along, long time.

The sitting areas are plain without much of a view. The food make up for it. We shared the Summer Rolls which could have need a whole meal. My Pineapple Duck was superb. You can request the heat factor and I chose 3 star. I would not want to try 4 star. The Pad Thai Woon-Sen with clear noodles was also a great choice.

Our only disappointment was that they were out of the fried ginger ice cream. We will have to try it on our next visit to Mystic.

The restaurant is only a mile or so from Route 95 at exit 90.

Ok I tried this place and it was a joke I have lived in mystic my whole life and drive by the location nearly every day the place is always dead I have no idea how they get a 5 star review every 3-7 days not even the best place in mystic gets that just saying and with the food I ordered fried rice and it had no flavor and was soaked with oil. Horrible all I have to say is Thai gone wrong!

Dear Reviewer,
First we’d like to thank you for your feedback. You have lived in Mystic your whole life, as you say in your review, and we are THE ONLY restaurant among more than 60 others in Mystic that was honored to get a review from you.
There are two things in your review that we’d like to address.
First, we are located in walking distance to more than dozen hotels and if you do not see many cars on our parking lot it means very little in terms of defining how busy we are. One would think that if you make a statement like “the place is always dead” (as you do), you’d go there more than ONCE, considering that we’ve been open for four and a half years and that you “drive by the location nearly every day” (as you say in your review).
Second, we always make sure that our customers are happy with the food that we make for them. We are here not just to sell our food; we are here to satisfy our guests with their experience while they are at our place. It may answer your question as for how we get 5 star reviews from our guests so often. We are sorry that you did not mention anything about your dissatisfaction with your dish while you were at the restaurant; surely we would find a way to make it up to you, one way or another.
Sincerely yours,
Thai One On team

We were the only ones in the whole restaurant for dinner at 5. Dumplings app was tiny. Pad see eew was very good. Spiced just perfectly- they call it "adventurous" on a spicy scale of 1-4 which was* clever. Got volcano shrimp. Essentially tomato sauce and garlic and 6 shrimp. A noodle plate, entree and a tiny app set me back 50+$. Don't mind paying if there is value. but there wasn't. Got a 2.50$ pizza slice on the way back to the hotel to fill me up. Wouldn't go back.

Stopped in to get a take away as we were staying at comfort inn (awful). Food was amazing - red curry with tofu and pad Thai - hotness level 4- which was perfect for us - we love hot and spicy food. Generous portions. The chef even popped out to say hello. Fabulous
