Needed an inexpensive hotel for 2 nights visiting Mystic and were pleasantly surprised at what we got for our money. Nice to get a full breakfast included at this price. Front desk staff were fine - civil and efficient - if not the most friendly and helpful we encountered over the 5 hotels we stayed in on our New England roadtrip (e.g. asked if they could call a cab for us, answer "here's a number, best if you do it yourself as they will want a name and information")!

Being unfamiliar with the area it was handy that this hotel is right off the Interstate 95 exit - the downside being that the town centre is not close by and involves a car ride or, if drinking alcohol, an 16 to 20 dollar roundtrip cab fare, as there do not appear to be any local buses. However local attractions are nearby, Old Mystic Shopping Village 100 yards down the road and beyond lie the Mystic Aquarium and Mystic Seaport.

Positives: Comfortable, clean, smart and modern. Large room with kingsize bed, fridge and coffeemaker. Large bathroom, doublesize shower. Indoor pool and gym (didn't have time to use). Luggage trolleys and Convenient car parking.

Negatives: Overall the buffet breakfast was fine but the cooked food was mediocre with scrambled eggs that seemed to be from a 'mix' rather than fresh and would have preferred proper crockery/cutlery instead of paper/plastic (suppose no washing up so keeps price down).

Overall we had a great stay in Mystic, with its attractions and good restaurants (we enjoyed Bravo Bravo and its sister AZU) and at this hotel. Would not hesitate to return.

We hadn't stayed here in a couple of years due to lower prices at our other favorite hotel in Mystic but we were able to get a nice price this time around and jumped on it. The Hampton still has the biggest rooms of the local hotels and the morning breakfast is a nice extra. Staff always friendly and hotel is kept very nice. Any chance we get to visit we always check the Hampton here first. Everything you need is close by.

Stayed in mystic and had a 20 minute ride to my appointment. The hotel is a phenomenal value. The staff are efficient and very helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located for business travellers. A great experience every time at this Hampton!

Hamptons are not five star hotels, but they do four star very well. This location is friendly, clean and all that the frequent Hampton visitor expects. Several restaurants including the Pizza Grille are nearby.
