“Make time to visit.”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Even if you're not interested in the sea, this is a must place to visit. Take time to see the Charles W. Morgan, a 1841 wooden whale ship that is undergoing restoration. At each gallery, there were very helpful and knowledgeable personnel explaining the various exhibit. I'm not much of a shopper, but the gift store offered a great line of items. Perfect place for families.

the sites the stores, restaurants to chose from. Store owners and personal are friendly. Even though it rained during our visit, that did not matter.

A great living museum. We love to come and see all the goings on as well as just slow down and stroll the grounds. Interesting for families as well as couples.
