“Educational & Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2012

My girlfriends and I visited Mystic Seaport as part of our getaway weekend. It was fantastic. It cost $24 to get in and we spent hours walking through the buildings and ships. The most interesting was the whaling boat The Morgan. All of the guides we met were interesting and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this one. Little kids might not enjoy it as much but I suspect anyone 10 and up would thoroughly enjoy this.

“Nice Day Trip”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

Since my husband LOVES things to do with ships and ship building, he was especially interested in the ship yard and the tour of the ship being worked on. The little town area was interesting and very much doable in one day, no need to get the second day pass in our opinion. Enjoyed the gift shop too.

“Very Educational and great Staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

Being a history buff I got great enjoyment out of the visit. The work they are going on the ships on site is amazing when you think about how old they are. The staff were happy to answer any questions and being there in September the weather was great and no crowds,

“A piece of local history”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 23, 2012

A piece of local history that places Mystic in a context. More educational than entertaining. Recommended to get the map and go through the highlights they have chosen
