Went with 4 friends to celebrate my birthday. Was not terribly busy, short wait for table. Good drinks, tasty chips and fresh salsa. Food was ordered and delivered quickly and was very yummy - steak fajitas!! Attentive and friendly staff. Only concern was fitting 5 into a booth was a little tight but otherwise great night.

Coyote Blue is one of our favorite local restaurants. The margaritas are fantastic and potent! Although the menu is limited, they always have specials and often seasonal menus. I like the fajitas, the stir fry ( I do ask for less salt) and the tortilla basket with grilled shrimp. Since the restaurant is very small it does get crowded. We usually try to arrive at 5 when the bar opens. Dinner service starts at 5:30 so we're usually seated right away.

The food here is very good and their house margaritas are to die for, just plan on long waits and rude customers if you go on a Friday or Saturday night. They do not take reservations and at peak dinner time their patent response is we'll take your name but it's going to be an hour wait. Don't let that daunt you, it's rarely an hour, they just say that to turn away the less committed. The bar area is always packed and first come first served. There are side tables with stools to hang out and wait for your name to be called and be served drinks and chips/salsa but it is very competitive with people jostling for a position.

We decided to try Coyote Blue on a recommendation from a family member. We were a party of 6 people arrving at 7:15pm on a Saturday night. We were told about an hour wait. We waited in the bar area and each had a Margarita (and free chips and salsa.) Drinks good chips salsa good as well. The people came and went-after 35 minutes we told the hostess we would squish into a booth at this point. We saw many booths empty out and people who came in after us be seated. We again told the hostess we would take a four top and deal with being jammed in-just to try the food. Well, after one hour and the bill presented to us (by the waitress at the bar area-who by the way was very pleasant) for our drinks, we left. Shame on this establishment for not accomodating us-even when we let them know we would be flexible in our seating!! We may try this resturant again, but until that review I give it a terrible rating for the service alone. Owner take note-you may have had a busy night but not treating your patrons equally is a total game changer!!!

We heard about Coyote Blue from a local tv station review. We went that following saturday and was really pleased with the experience.
Although crowded, the staff was top notch, we were quickly served chips / salsa with a margarita while we waited for a table.
I had the coyote combo to get a taste of what they had to offer and it was really good....
They limit you to 2 margarita's, and I can see why....very good but very strong...

The only negative is the website...it really needs an update
