An interesting castle with audio information about the history on site. Set above the river the view was lovely and I am sure the stepping stones would provide a great experience , but not for the fainthearted.! There are lots of horses around which were being brought down from local stables to the estuary. As it is tidal don't leave your car for long as it may be flooded! Worth a visit.

Great little place. We came here on one of the hottest days of the year. The kids loved the stepping stones and wading through the river.

It's a great place for picnics and photos but not one where you'd spend all day. We just passed through on the way to Ogmore-by-Sea.

Historically attractive and simple. don't expect too much as this is just a castle ruins and beautiful river. I loved the feel of the simplicity and the ancient stepping stones over the river.

Ruined, and small castle up the road from the beach. Great and scary (for the fainthearted) stepping stones across the river.
