“Small park with high prices.”
Reviewed September 8, 2011

The new wooden coaster was good. Great ride but too short. They are not good at moving the line along. Staff took thier time loading people and clowning around. Actually stopped the ride for 10 minutes to retrieve a lost hat??? They already have your money, so they don't care if you wait on line instead of riding. Not much else good to ride besides the coaster. Food was over priced but that is typcial for an amusement park.

“Great Place for Young Children”
Reviewed August 30, 2011

We recently visited the park with our girls 5 and 9. They enjoyed the water park, not to over whelming for their ages and very safe. The lounge charis are set up in a U shape around the water park, allowing you to see where your kids are at all times. The rides allow the parents to ride too. Which is great when you have a little that doesn't make the cut on her own for most of the rides. The park is the perfect size for family with kids 5 - 13. The restrooms and dressing rooms were kept clean, the prices of food items were fair, the benches located by each ride in the shade is a blessing and the locker rooms were located conveniently. We will be going back again next year Instead of driving to the bigger parks

“Great Park for Young Families”
Reviewed August 23, 2011

We visited Quassy for the first time tonight and had a very pleasant experience. The setting is beautiful - the Lake is really special and many of the rides give you a good view of it. The park is small - not sure we would spend a whole day there. We entered after 5P - and stayed til close at 8P. Perfect amount of time for us and our 7 and 9 year old boys. Our favorite ride was the Wooden Warrior. A short but awesome coaster that's well designed. Highly recommend for families with young children ages 4 - 8. Older kids may be a little bored if you spend more than a few hours there.

“nice park for small children”
Reviewed August 21, 2011

This is a nice small amusement park for children 4-11. Yes, the park is old and some of the rides look like they're about to fall apart, but overall it is worth a ride if you live within 60 miles. We started off with Saturation station, a small water park area young children will enjoy. We moved on to the small beach area and swam in the lake, which appeared to be very clean. Next to the amusement park rides. If you're a thrill seeker looking for great coaster rides, this park is not for you. The lone coaster at this park is the new wooden warrior. This is a family coaster that most 5 year old can ride. Food & beverages are pricey - $3 for a bottle of water $3.75 for a slice of cheese pizza. TRY THE FRIED DOUGH! It was delicious! Quassy has the potential to be a GREAT amusement park for families with small children, but unfortunately isn't living up to its potential. It is okay and I recommend it!

Pros - friendly professional staff, the fried dough, clean beach & lake, relatively inexpensive admission, wooden warrior, YOUNG kids will like/love it

Cons - dirty bathrooms, expensive food & beverages, some areas look run down, old rides, not living up to its potential, many of the cliental appeared to have just been released from a correctional facility

“Nice small park with charm and getting better every year!”
Reviewed August 17, 2011

Just returned to this park for the first time since 2008 and was surprised at how much it has changed for the better. It definitely got some 'modernization' but without losing its charm. The new wooden roller coaster is a great addition and the kids water park looked perfect for the tweens and younger. We also had our lunch in the Birthday Party room and it was a nice venue complete with balloon artist. Don't go expecting a Six Flags park, but that can be a very good thing! =)
