Very modern well appointed hotel. Stylish room with high end bathroom fixtures. Very friendly staff. Many restaurant options from coffee shops to elegant dining. Abundant free parking. Affordable mid week rates. Will definitely return.

We visited MGM for a belated birthday trip. The front desk was extremely helpful and pleasant upon check-in. They even upgraded our room to a suite complimentary for my birthday. The room was very clean and comfortable and was a high floor so the view was top notch. I love this location because you can see the woods and the full moon. By morning the woods were filled with fog and the moon was still full!!! What a great picture view!!
I will be back.

Room Tip: ask for a high room. Great views!

This is a much smaller version of the MGM Grand in Vegas but it's connected to the other casinos in the Foxwood Resort so there's plenty of options for dining etc. In the middle of an Indian Reservation surrounded by miles of trees (which I thought was quite cool). It had a nice outdoor pool, a great gym which is free but if you want to use the spa, indoor pool etc you have to pay a day rate. Free valet parking and decent size rooms although they only had a shower (no bath). We went primarily to visit Boston and Cape Cod but this is a pleasant way to spend a couple of days.

The room was wonderful, the view was awesome... did not want to leave the room! Next time we're staying for at least two nights!
The hotel itself, the casino, the area... all good! Everything is well kept and luxurious.
Super-comfy bed, nice sitting area... jacuzzi tub... coffee maker in room if you want it- but there are many places to eat on the complex itself.
Bring money for the casinos- and plan to leave it there (just so you won't be disappointed)... hey- you never know!

We love the MGM @ Foxwoods and stay there quite often. If you want to have a blast go to Foxwoods casino in Conneticut a world of its own.The rooms are high quality and the Shrine restaurant is one of the best for asian fare.Concerts all the time we just seen Huey Lewis and the legands show (superb) Blue brothers were great and even made some cash. The pool is superb and service at floors could be better but it is what it is.The only problem we have with Conneticut casino are transportation to from the casinos in that area as i suggested to employees there they could make out like champs by having shuttles which you could charge from Foxwoods to Mohegan Sun casino and everyone would be winners but they still have alot to learn from Vegas.

Room Tip: Always ask for the forest side as the scenery is fabulous!

It has become a tradition that my spouse and I stay at the MGM for my birthday. And while I seem to get older (and a little slower?) each year, our stay at the MGM gets better and better.

This year we have been able to get away to the MGM a little more frequently due to our flexible work schedules. This past stay, however, takes the "cake".

When we checked in to our suite there was wine, chocolates, a cheesecake and Mediterranean vegetable platter waiting for us along with a beautiful mural on the window wishing me a happy birthday. This was completely unexpected and a fabulous surprise. Our suite was divine, as was all the meals we enjoyed. The gambling, well not so much. I guess the casino didn't know it was my birthday because every machine I played ate all my money. Boo!

Every staff member we have encountered, both on this trip and others, have been polite, friendly, professional and efficient. We had the privilege of checking in with Precious at the VIP check-in. Her laugh and smile was infectious.

But the biggest compliment goes to Susan, the Chef Concierge. In addition to arranging my great birthday getaway, she has helped us with numerous reservations this year and in years past.

After communicating via email many months at a time, it was a joy to finally meet her in person and put a face to a name. Thank you Susan for your incredible service. The MGM is lucky to have you. You're a true gem and enough kind words can't be said about your hospitality.

Until next year.... Thanks!
