Hubby and I chose this place because we wanted something a little upscale and relaxing. Cedars Steak House was neither of those things. We were rushed in and out of there in under 60 minutes. Service was fast but unimpressive and way too casual. Food presentation was bland, boring and bordered on unappetizing. Beefsteak tomato and onion salad was just two huge tomatoe slices and a huge onion slice. Guess I expected it to be served cut up with seasonings and a light dressing. Instead, it was difficult to eat and bland. My swordfish was dry and looked lost on the huge plate. A side of steamed asparagus was so overloaded on the small plate, it was difficult to cut. Hubby said his steak was fine. He is a man of few words.I felt like we tossed away $250 in 45 minutes. I do better at the slots.

Best T-BONE stone around. Both the Filet and Strip were equally delicious! The Mushroom appetizer was also fantastic. The service was great. Going Midweek so a great idea because there where only about 30 people in the restaurant. I also had the tomatoes and onions with basalmic dressing, which was also fantastic.

We have eaten at the restaurant for the last few years every time we visit Foxwoods but this is our last time! Every time we eat here you have to sit in the lounge and wait for a table, even if the place is half empty and you have a reservation.. You are then sitted at a table near the door even if there are plenty of tables and booths, and you have to in sist on a better table. Then, after you are given the menus if you dare ask for the special $65 for 2 menu (available Sun.-Thurs non-holidays and not a bad deal) you are glared at and you will have a long wait while they find the menus. We ordered from it anyway. Also, of course the wine we wanted was not available and the server recommended a wine almost twice the price. The meal, notwithstanding the service, was good, but for the money we will go to David Burke's restaurant from now on. Cedars' staff nedds to treat its patrons better!!!!

Been there about 20 times and never have been disappointed..a litle pricey but worth it. The atmosphere is great and you can eat at the bar which is terrific. I have had Prime Rib, Rib Eye, Chicken, Salmon, eef over salad and I have loved them all. They have prefixed dinners as well. We had my daughters 21st birthday dinner there and everybody loved the food. The staff is great. If you are only eating one meal at Foxwoods than make it Ceders if you like great meat or fish.
