In addition, David Burke Prime will offer thousands of bottles of premium wine from around the world. Located on the hotel level of Grand Pequot Tower in Foxwoods Resort Casino, the 13,000-square-foot steakhouse will seat 280 people and feature a 35-foot tall wine tower escalating up three stories to the casino level. Had brunch of prime rib hash and it was just ok. Went back later for appetizers and drinks. The dumplings were uninspired and one strip of the three strips of bacon was all fat. Expensive and not worth it in our opinion.

A bit on the pricy side but so worth it. On Monday night they have a three course lobster special that comes with an appetizer (had the lo lobster dumplings and they were delicious) my friend had the lobster bisque and it was outstanding - your 1 1/2 lb lobster with mixed vegetables, a popover, and your choice of four desserts. I chose the apple dumpling and it melted in your mouth.

Tuesday night we chose the prime rib special and it was cooked to perfection. This is served with one of the largest baked potatoes I have ever seen, your choice of appetizer or salad, and dessert. I left about half of my prime rib as I wanted to be sure to save some room for their outstanding carrot cake and I wasn't the least bit disappointed.

Wednesday afternoon we stopped in for a burger &coke. This is a lunchtime steal. The burger was only $5 and came with all the trimmings. However, fries spare extra and we decided the burger was "good enough". No disappointment there either. Very satisfying and cooked to perfection! Here's a tip - if you can't get seated quickly, check out the bar area. Same great food and really great service!

We went on Monday for lobster night and has a beautiful meal.... There wasn't a huge amount of lobster but enough and very yummy. Icy hot chocolate and winter sangria cocktails come highly recommended as do the oysters!!! East Coast all the way!!!!

Down at Foxwoods for a birthday get together. Reservation was scheduled perfectly. Everyone loved their drinks, martinis, wine and beers. Dinner is a la carte, and sides are $10 and up. From pork to Filets, everyone loved the food and the preparation. We were not hurried and were seated well beyond the door which was great since we were there for 2 hours eating, kibitzing and laughing it up with the birthday guy. Main dishes of the beef was $38-48 plus the sides.

I know, what do you expect when at a casino/hotel setting? But, for the price paid, they could include the side dishes....

It's really too bad, the food and service was top notch here. We have been here before to celebrate a birthday and we returned for another birthday that was the weekend of Christmas. My sister had an issue with her steak being over done. She never sends anything back whenever we go out. The server happily brought the steak back and the Manager JAMES returned with a new one. Initially it was ordered medium and was received at almost well done. The new steak arrived quickly and was pretty much rare. She requested that it be cooked more and James responded by saying that it was a perfect medium rare. He did bring it back to fix it to her liking but you could tell that he was annoyed. He did not seem at all sincere in his apology and had a smug look on his face that really turned us off. The server was extremely apologetic and she was very nice and she seemed to care much more about our experience than he did. Needless to say we won't be returning as long as he's running that restaurant and for that reason and that reason only.
