So went there on a package deal. If staying at foxwoods always ask for a package when booking, the room rates seem to be much more reasonable. We went to see John Caparulo (amazing) and spent the night. Cedar is one of the older hotels - and the rooms reflect it. The renovation was good, but you can still tell it's an older room.
That said - the room was clean, we were able to check in early, the staff more than friendly, and the room comfortable.
For all the time we spent in the room - it was fine.
Grand Pequot and MGM are much nicer hotels if you want a nicer room.
We ate at the steak restaurant downstairs at Pequot - service was incredible - it's expensive - but you're in a casino so should expect this and frankly the presentation was above par.
Veranda Cafe in the morning for some well needed greasy breakfast food - the buffet is economically the way to go even if you don;t want more than one plate. Fresh fruit and omlette station are well received.
I'd stay there again if the price point were different than the other hotels -- but overall it was fine +.
