We stayed at the Devpur homestay in early April and it was an excellent experience. This was the first stop in our 15 day long Gujarat trip and easily the best experience! We were offered the deluxe room and it was very well done up with lots of books, artefacts etc. The propoerty offered a lot of space for the children who could walk and run around. The hospitality was excellent - Mrs. and Mr. Krutharth were exceptional hosts - very kind and caring to address all our needs. The home cooked food was excellent - we loved the Kutchi cuisine and it can be very spicy for the uninitiated!
Mr. Krutharth helped us plan our Kutch itinerary very well and also organised a good driver to take us around. We also ended up extending our trip by a day. We would have actually loved to stay longer than the 4 days we spent here. I could go on; but the bottomline is that this is a place worth staying at. excellent ambience with a touch of history nesteld in a quite village. Simply perfect. Not to forget, the very interesting conversations with Mr. Krutharth on Gujarat, Kutch and a whole host of other topics.
Would recommedn anyone going to Kutch to spend time at the Devpur Homestay - it's worth it!!
We look forward to coming back again sometime.....
