At 8:30pm, it looked like 1/3 of the tables were available, 1/3 occupied, and 1/3 not bussed, and there was a 1/2 hour wait to be seated. Obviously seriously understaffed.

Went to Chili's on Buckland Street in Manchester, CT on 1/1/14-service was EXTREMELY slow, waited about 20 minutes before anyone came to take a drink order-whole dining experience took 2 hours. The restaurant was very dirty, there were about 7 tables that weren't cleared off from previous diners that stayed that way through our meals and when we left, and there was garbage on the floors(i.e., napkins, food, paper) . The restroom was not clean and when you walk to the restroom you can look into the kitchen-filthy kitchen, looked like something off of Kitchen Nightmares. If I had seen that before we ate our food I would have walked out. Very disappointing all around. My husband was sick that night, not sure if it was from eating at Chili's but his stomach was very upset-if there is a manager there they should be fired!!!!

A busy night that had people in line the whole time we were there. We watched the second half of the football game in the bar and had dinner. It is a small area but the service was fine and the food was standard. I would go there again.

Ordered Chilis to Go twice from this one. They got our order terribly wrong both times. Missing sides and entrees. And when my husband went back, they treated him like he was the bad guy. I am sorry but when you are paying to eat somewhere and have to go back to get the rest of the order, something is wrong. Normally, love their food and their service. Not this one.

Ordered to go last night and went with the Outback down the road instead. They got the order completely correct and included two loaves of bread. YUM!

Thank you, Christie( our server) for being genuinely kind, considerate, attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Now, on to the food...The Triple Dipper- we chose Southwest Egg Rolls( smoked chicken, black beans, corn, Jack cheese, red peppers, and spinach all rolled up in a egg roll wrapper and fried). These were quite tasty. The menu indicates served with avocado ranch dressing...hmm. The Wings Over Buffalo - well cooked crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, slathered with a heaping helping of hot sauce...Yummy! These were served with traditional blue cheese dressing. Lastly, the trio choice was their new Cheesesteak sliders. The tender slices of beef and peppers were served on mini New England style hot dog buns. They were very good. These also came with a ranch type dipping sauce. We could not tell any difference between this sauce and what they called avocado ranch -except one was watery. The disappointment was that the celery served to dip into the blue cheese dressing was inedible. Apparently it sat under the heat lamp before it got to our table and the celery was warm and limp. Not at all appetizing. Note to self: ask for fresh or don't get the celery.
We also ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs - Memphis dry rub. We also got a side of their Shiner Bock BBQ Sauce( excellent, by the way). The ribs were good, but did not fall of the bone and I found them very, very dry. This is where the BBQ sauce came in handy. All in all, we were glad we stopped in for lunch. It has been a long time since we visited a Chili's. We will go back. It was a pleasant experience.
