This park is really beautiful and big. They allow you to come in and enjoy the place playing frisbee or just plain walking around. Families plan get together's as well as individuals that just want to get out and enjoy the good weather. Great place to relax.

Gorgeous park. It is truly a hidden gem in the state. Many different pavilions and areas to explore. Would definitely recommend this for a family outing or for family Pictures as our family did

If you like the outdoors and enjoying beautiful gardens Wickham is definitely the place to go. They have several themed gardens and area that you can rent for events. Been there several times with my son just for lunch!

Each little area has its own charm; the toad in the Japanese Gardens, the little white bridge by the duck pond, the secret backtrails leading to the top, a view which locals and out-of-staters alike can appreciate...Wickham Park is beautiful year-round, the lawns are well-groomed, the gardens carefully labelled. Even the cross-country trainers and frisbee golfers can't deny: this place is for calm.

I can't say enough about this hidden jem. I have been going to Wickham park since I was a child. I have fond memories of a photoshoot as a 6year old flowergirl, school field days in Middle School, my College Graduation Party at a rented picnic area with grills, electicity and a covered pavilion, and countless memories of my own children growing up. Each visit with my kids has been an amazing, relaxing day of exploration. Wickham offers picnic groves, gardens more diverse than my writing can explain or do justice. Trails for hiking, a disc-golf course, amazing views of Hartford's skyline, a duck pond and lovely aviary. Every inch beautifully manicured, worth the trip.
