Take a nice peaceful walk or jog through this multiple acre park or bring the Grandchildren to see the animals or feed the duck. You can even sleigh ride in winter and the entrance fee is very reasonable. $ 4 PER CARLOAD !

I like to walk here and look at the flowers and sit for a while in the sensory garden..
There are trails as well.
I feel safe here as there are workers who are very pleasant and helpful.
Also use the tennis courts as well

The area overlooking the city skyline of Hartford was truly beautiful. Seating for a ceremoney is limited to about 50 people. Go during the spring to enjoy all the flowers in bloom!

I have run cross country races at Wickham in high school, gone sledding on the back hill in the winter, hiked the trails, played (badly) disc golf, walked the dog, rented a picnic grove for a day of whiffleball with college friends, had my first date with my husband, brought my kids to play and visit the aviary, taken photos of fall leaves, flown a kite on the back hill, played tennis.....something for everyone! It's worth the small fee per car.

Great spot to picnic, play outdoor games or have a special outdoor event. We rode the motorcycle and had a wonderful lazy afternoon.
