Very nice folks and a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. The food was great. We started with a cup of clam "chowdah" followed by a CT buttered "lobstah" roll. I would go back.

Thank Lana N

Stopped for a late lunch. I got the clam strip platter it was a typical platter for a large a bit small with a good amount of strips but a lot of crunchy bits with no clam and the french fries were okay

Lenny & Joe's Fish Tale in Madison, CT is our friends' 1st choice local seafood restaurant, We all met there for dinner tonight (6/3), since we were passing through their neighborhood on our way back to FL. We had scallop rolls, the 1&1/2 lb steamed lobster dinner, the scallop platter, and the scallop/fried whole clam combo platter. Sundaes and cones followed as dessert. Each meal was served piping-hot & prepared perfectly, especially the steamed lobster dinner. Usually the side dishes pale in comparison to the main course; however, the springy corn on the cob and the tender salt potatoes were every bit as great as the lobster! The prices were reasonable, portions were plentiful, service was prompt, & the meals couldn't have been better. Definitely a place we would return to!

This place is the perfect place to stop after a few hours in the sun. The interior is very informal where you can come as casually dressed as you like and get some really great seafood. If you like lots of butter with your lobster, I heartily recommend the lobster roll.

Order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. It is always busy so be prepared to scout around for seating while someone in your party waits for the food to be prepared. It doesn't take long but lobster takes a little longer. Simply put: good fish, BYO, outdoor seating, a merry-go-round (proceeds go to charity) and ice cream: all in one place. Lots of kids and families. A summer-time favorite. They have cheap T-shirts and caps. The 2013 season caps are in. Have fun!
