This seaside restaurant is perfect for family brunches, romantic dinners by sunset, lunches with friends who haven't seen each other in forever -- it's just perfect for so many special occasions.

The setting steals the show, with seating on the deck facing the sea, it's hard to top. However, the food was consistently good and the service is friendly, prompt and very attentive to your needs. We ate 6-8 meals here over a weekend and enjoyed every one of them.

The fireplace is cozy in the evenings, the bar is a relaxed spot for an afternoon burger and the deck is unbeatable for an evening sunset cocktail with oysters and friends.

We live in Manhattan and are internationally travelled. We were surprisingly impressed by the quality of food at this gem of a restaurant by the water. My husband is from Madison, and I would always complain about the quality of restaurants in the area. No more!!! The food is not notch---NYC quality. Whether you have lamb or tuna tartar, it's delicious and beautifully presented. The pastry chef is gifted beyond her years. The brunch is the best we ever had--and that is saying a lot. Imagine an extensive raw bar, two types of homemade poached salmon with dill, homemade crab cakes, carving stations, charcuterie, homemade pastas, omelets, awesome waffles, a dessert bar (try the warm chocolate-carmel bread pudding and the individually made strawberry shortcakes) and more. On top of that, you have the gorgeous views! Oh, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We have eaten there for every meal and have never been disappointed. We even hosted a family event there. Everyone was thrilled. I would recommend outdoor dining or seating facing the water. Watch the light on the water and let your troubles melt away. Our heartfelt thanks to the Wharf for opening in Madison!

The Wharf is an excellent restaurant and even better brunch. Outstanding cuisine with a myriad of food choices. Very generous and excellent staff. Lucas was especially helpful and very stellar at his job. Thanks so much, Tonya

Great service, reasonable prices, excellent dessert.
We should have gone to dinner earlier so that we would have watched the sunset and been seated in the balcony. We arrived too late and had to eat inside and only one of us had a view of the water. The desserts were wonderful and our meals were cooked to perfection.

The food was ok, but a trying to be a little bit too complicated. The best plate we had were the scallops : fresh, prefectly cooked, with a dressing on the side that I didn't use : the scallops were beautiful on their own ! The rest was a little bit disappointing.
Also, the dining room and bar area are extremely noisy : all open space, no intimacy, with loud conversations everywhere. It's a shame because the place itself has a very big "romantic" potential !
The staff was very nice, as nice as in the hotel to wich the restaurant is attached.
