Very nice beach that closes at 8/8:30 p.m. Visited it for the first time on Saturday, July 20th, after having eaten a relatively nice meal at Clam Castle. There seems to be various beaches for your perusal. We went to Middle Beach and enjoyed people watching, sitting on the bench, and enjoying the skies many hues, shapely clouds, and soaring seagulls. The sunset was gorgeous!

Perfect location to introduce young ones to the ocean. Small waves, gradual depth increase, and ample sandy beach for sand castles. Biting flies "can" be an issue if you are unlucky to be there on a peak day, and jellyfish can be a concern but that is only to be expected when we were there neither were an issue. Good food services facilities. All around very enjoyable day and back again tomorrow.

can sometimes be difficult to get into the park with long car lines. Great place to spend day with family

Loads of families sharing a campground with very good facilities and proximity to needed shops such as hardware and outdoor gear. At 10;30 almost all quiet for people to sleep. Security is very good and rangers patrol regularly. Only beef I have is with the shower stalls; no place to put your soap except on the floor of the shower. Went out and bought pail and door hook to adapt for simple yet annoying oversight. Bring your bike and helmets are needed for kids.

Many of the camp sites have trees for shade but mine was naked and sun took its toll on my ankles. Use sun block everyday. Ice is available in many areas including the beach store. To be on the safe side I recommend bringing a portable canopy, they are worth the cost. Mixture of people and families with tents and campers.

Bugs are one of the few problems so bring something that takes of this. Great place for children and families as well as friends to meet. Temperatures in July were very tough and shade is valuable resource. Water is also available close by sites. Tables are in all sites to my knowledge, but no grills.

Good place for giving children memories.
