To do this place justice, you really need a picture. I didn't take one. It is a ramshackled building with a bathtub on the roof, a motley crew of regulars and a canoe hanging from the ceiling. Our waitress was great, the beer was great ( nice selection of high end IPA's) and our goat cheese, dried tomato and eggplant pizza was mind blowing. My five year old son was mesmerized by the fish tank that deprecates the bar from the dining area. The wait staff doted over our five year old. Good for family and fun.

We went for pizza at Bohemian Pizza which is an informal restaurant (?) or place to go for drinks and to hang out with friends. I was a little intimidated with the rough-looking crowd hanging around the porch at the entrance. We were greeted and told we could seat ourselves anywhere.

The interior is wildly decoracted with a mix of record album covers and old-time photos lining the walls and ceiling. You can sit in wood booths or at tables which have paper placemats and silverware rolled up in your napkin. Rock music can be heard being played over the house audio system, but the songs were mostly unidentifyable and blended in with noise from the patrons. We ate somewhat early to avoid the crowd, and there was a mix of mostly families with children and couples. Service was attentive and friendly.

We shared an order of the batter fried green beans which were served with a wasabi dip and a blue cheese dip for dipping. They resembled deep fried onion rings and were tasty. We were three people, so we ordered an 18" pizza, half prepared with bell peppers and onions and the other half with bacon. It was more than enough and we were full upon finishing the pizza. The pizza features a thin crispy crust and a non-descript tomato sauce under our toppings. It was just okay. I reside in Italy so I'm not a very good judge of pizza in the USA.

You can also order meals and salads from the menu. I learned that Bohemian Pizza gets really busy after dinner hours and makes a for a relaxing place to hang out for the younger crowd.

Have been going for years. Loved the Torrington location before it closed. Just a great place to relax and food is good too!

While it might appear a bit run down on the outside, the dinner area is warm and cozy, thanks to the large double sided fireplace. The food is consistent and very good.Either pizzas or the specials are a good choice. The service can be a bit slow if busy. The white peach sangria is a must have.

Bohemian charm with promise never fulfilled.
The crust and topping of the cheapest quality without taste.
There are numerous Pizza places in the area much better.
