We discovered this new Chili's high up on a hill off of 395 on a ride north to Massachusetts one day, and decided to stop for dinner on the way home. We haven't been disappointed since! The staff at this Chili's seem to be quite happy with their restaurant because it shows in everyone's attitude. While some waitpersons are inevitably better than others, I can honestly say we've never had a single person here who didn't give us great service while being upbeat and seeming genuinely happy to be waiting on that night. (And I know every night can't always be a good night for waiting on people.) Our food is always served smoking hot and the orders are always correct. The beer is ice cold and the drink refills keep coming. The ribs are fall off the bone tender, the steak is actually very good too. My favorite is the Margarita Chicken which come on a bed or rice and perfectly seasoned black beans. The chips and salsa or guac are seriously good. The nachos are very interesting with a black bean layer on each. We love to sit on the bar side during appetizer "Happy Hour". We get a few meal deals for a big savings at only $4.99 and share them for dinner. The 2/$20 meal deals have a ton of great choices and it's rare that we don't agree on one each visit for our family of four. All the great tacos-- especially the shrimp ones-- are a great choice too. The shrimp here are always a nice large size and grilled beautifully-- never dry or rubbery.
We were surprised at how good the food was here as we have become resigned to blah, prepackaged tasting/looking food at many chains. After well over a dozen visits to the Lisbon Chili's-- a good 40 minute drive for us (even past other restaurants)-- I can honestly say it's a great place to eat and feel welcomed.
