We have eaten at The Skillet for many years, usually once a week depending on the year. It is almost always bustling, but the turnover is quick so it is never a long wait if it is filled up. They have the best Chicken Parm anywhere, and my favorite staple is the Roast Beef Club. They are super nice -- and very willing to make substiutions. Breakfasts are good too, although we usually come for dinner. The Skillet is not the place for a fancy meal. It is a hometown, neighborhood diner. The service is fast and friendly, the food is solidly reliable and you can't beat the prices. You haven't experienced Killingworth until you eat at the Skillet.
