Although owners are nice and friendly, it's an old, tired, cluttered, dingy house. Beds have worn out mattresses. Breakfast was a real disappointment. Very overpriced for what it is. You'll wish you were elsewhere!

This is exactly what I think of when I think of a B&B. We visited on a gorgeous fall day, a bit of rain, beautiful colors turning on the leaves. The owners are so cool, really nice, mellow people. They gave us excellent dinner recommendations, as well as pointed us up the road to a perfect little hike up the waterfall. We woke up and there were kids from the boarding school rowing crew. It was like we walked into Dead Poet's Society or something. Oh, and if you're lucky, you'll get Mary's blueberry pancakes. Be sure to ask her about them. Incredible story.

Room Tip: Be sure to grab an extra blanket before you go to bed if it seems like the temperature might drop. There are space heaters but I'm from California and get cold in New England!

It's basically a house with rooms to rent, ours had a private bath. The house is very old, there are some interesting odors. It's heated by wood and the bathroom was freezing. For a $100 a night in that area it would be worth it. We paid over $200 and it is most definitely not worth that. Since the advertised rate is $175 max not sure why we paid more especially since it was not "full.". We did not have breakfast because we are early risers and left long before anyone else was awake. Maybe that would have made the difference.

Lovely owners. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful. This was so close to Kent which is a wonderful little town with plenty to do. Cooper and Mary made us feel like family and yet let us have our space.. You will be glad you found this gem...

I can't say enough good things about Cooper and Mary and their hospitality. They are terrific innkeepers and very welcoming. The inn is as quaint as a New England inn can be. I arrived as a thruhiker and planned on staying one night and stayed two nights. Even though they cater to hikers, this inn is a relaxing spot for any type of traveler. Very clean, quiet, outstanding breakfast, and tastefully decorated. Cooper and Mary are interesting conversationalists. A must stay.
