check-in/check-out personnel very friendly. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Tub had no plug for a bath; room definitely needed updating. We had two rooms; one smelled like it used to be a smoking room tho is now non-smoking; other room was fine. Breakfast was minimal--a few pastries, coffee, juice. Very close to the highway and easy to get to Rentschler stadium. Others have said the area was dangerous, we didn't find that at all. In an old industrial area, but seemed quite safe and clean to us. Okay for a place to stay for a quick overnight trip. Room type won't be guaranteed if you don't reserve through Days Inn website

This place had a prison feel to it. There are only a maximum of 4 people allowed in the room and $10 extra per head after the first 2. Over 4 people, no big deal, as long as they're out by 3am.. Where the **** do you go in this ****ty town at 3am, especially when you're on your way home and still have 4 hours to go.. In short, two of my buddies had to sleep in the car in the sketchy parking lot of the hotel while the rest of us slept coazily with the bedbugz. Please don't support this location. It should be bought out by Hilton and done correctly.

First I want to say that the staff at this hotel was amazing. They were the only staff that helped us carry in our bags and helped us up to our room. They were very friendly and helpful and apologetic .
The hotel itself is just old. The hotel used to be all smoking therefore it smells. The smoking floors smell worse then the floors that are now non-smoking. We were in a non-smoking room and because it had previously been smoked in it smelt like mushrooms and feet.
The mini fridge made a buzzing noise so I had to unplug it. The room itself was decent and having a microwave was a bonus. The hallway smelt bad as well because other people on our floor were smoking...something other then cigarettes and the smell lingered into the hallway.
The staff was so apologetic at the smells and they were the only hope for redemption.
The elevator was also scary. But it was cheap.

Room Tip: Ask to be on the third floor...its better

My husband & I drove up to see a concert and stayed here because it was close to the arena and very affordable but you get what you pay for. The reservation was not in their computer even thou I had a copy printed to show them. It took us over an hour to get into the room and gave us very little time to shower & change for the concert after spending over 4 hours in a car from Philadelphia. If we ever go up to CT again we will definately NOT STAY HERE!!! When we returned from the concert there was a roach in the elevator - a roach! Thank goodness it was only a one night stay.

Room Tip: Don't stay here
