On a recent business trip to Hartford, we had several recommendations to go to Max. Fortunately for us, we were able to get a reservation later in the evening while there was a UConn game. The service from Kyle was simply delightful. The house cabernet was great, and my firend enjoyed a doubel bourbon with a big ice cube. We had local fresh oysters and crab laws, a wonderful goat salad, warm bread with a cheesy crust and artisanal butter. The ahi entree was amazing - and a healthy-sized portion. Desserts are over the top. Leisurely, not the least fussy, and impeccable from start to finish. Highly recommend!
