A most wonderful place to spend an enjoyable evening. Great acoustics. Depending on your musical tastes - Pop, Broadway, Classical The musicians, conductors, and will many a pleasant evening which you will remember.

“Beautiful and Friendly Facility”
Reviewed December 5, 2012

Went with our kids to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Musical. We were really impressed with how nice the theater is. Plenty of room to walk around outside the theater itself and the auditorium was very, very nice. Plenty of legroom in the seats, which was a pleasant surprise. A good venue.

“Bushnell Center for the Arts”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

I have attended many shows here and am always satisfied with the artists. Try to get a seat in the orchestra as the seats are more comfortable for those with long legs. Will attend shows in the future.

“A staple for Entertainment in Hartford”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

The Bushnell has always (as long as I can remember) been a leader in bringing shows and performers to downtown Hartford.
Accoustics are good, and renovations done a few years ago have kept everythng updated without losing the charm of the original Theatre.
Only downsides are tight seating in the Mezzanine and Balcony levels, making it a little uncomfortable if you are tall (or wide) and the parking. With it's location near the State Capital Building you can normally find on-street parking within a few blocks, but it can be hit or miss.

“beautiful theater”
Reviewed November 13, 2012

I have been a seson suvscriber to the Broadway at the bushnell series for over 20 years. I can't begin to detail all the amazing performers and shows I have seen. The theater is large, seating about 2800.
