“Great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

These people put your trash to good use and it is great! I love the creativity that comes along with the trash collectors. I wouldn't just go there though. I went there with some friends. It is great for kids though.

“An Amazing School Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2012

We take our first graders every year and the teachers learn something every year. Protecting our earth is a valuable lesson. The ladies are amazing with the kids. The students are so engaged. They allow scouting groups and private visits. All children shoulod learn about recycling, reusing and reducing our trash. Take your family. The Charter Oak Landing park is a few yards up the road. AMAZING

“An interesting visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

I got the impression that the museum didn't get many visitors from the UK (let's face it, it isn't your "usual" tourist visit!) - the staff were all incredibly welcoming. The most interesting part was watching the sorting process - make sure that you time the visit properly, otherwise you may find that everyone is having lunch and there won't be too much to see.

We found it fascinating - particularly looking at the art work. Would recommend it and hope to bring our children back at some stage.

“Learn a few things”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2012

Actually learn some useful information on the garbage we dump everyday. The cool thing is the 2nd floor viewing platform which you can see an actual recycle plant in action.
$4.00 admission, plenty of free parking. Bring the kids, there's stuff for them to see, and do.
