5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

the church is GREAT - all hand carved pews - they have a book on the carvings - the windows are fantastic with sun on it
in the summer they have free concerts on Wed. nights starting in late June - bring your own dinner in picnic basket and chair

“Some nice things for tourists but not many”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

Tourists from out of town won't find a lot at Trinity, but you should know about the Long Walk and the Chapel. The Long Walk is the core of the campus, built in the 19th century and is a true masterpiece of college architecture. The chapel, built in the early 20th century, is neo-Gothic, reminiscent of English medieval chapels. The stonework was laid by European artisans, and the interior features wonderful hand-carved symbolic figures on each pew. Try to visit during an organ recital -- a great experience. In the summer, sit on the quad with a picnic for the weekly carillon concert and enjoy the chamber concert in the chapel. Trinity also has one of the best squash teams and facilities in the U.S. -- fast-paced fun. Check their website for other offerings, but there usually aren't too many other things for outsiders. If you visit, parking is free, but try to park inside the campus to avoid a car break-in; enter at the Broad Street entrance, or park in the lots right up next to the Long Walk buildings on Summit Street, and you should be fine. Food is available in several spots on campus, including coffee and snacks in the library.

“Cinestudio at Trinity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Want to catch the movie you didn't see when it first came out? How bout the movie that "never" came out in CT? Or a classic? Trinity - which also is a wonderful college - has a great little movie theater called Cinestudio. Go. Enjoy.

Beautiful campus, lovely people and the accommodations are wonderful but the campus surroundings can make one a bit uncomfortable if you are unaware.

“Cinestudio is great for watching movies”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

The screen is big, the selction of movies is interesting, eclectic and not what you'll find in suburban cineplexes. If you love movies more than hype and franchises then Cinestudio is one of the best theatres in the state.
