This park has some of the finest gardens you will ever see and is easy to navigate. The park, designed by Olmstead of Central Park fame is just beautiful. And stop for lunch at the Pond House while you are there.

This is a free public park. The rose garden is so beautiful. The best months to visit the rose garden are June & July. There are 2 small flowers gardens and 1 rocks garden across from the rose garden and they are also very nice. This park is a perfect place for picnic, walking, running, and biking.

Home of the oldest Rose Garden in the country, Elizabeth Park is a beautiful spot for a picnic on a warm afternoon or for wandering among the rose beds and perennial & annual gardens. My mother has been visiting since she was a young girl and we visit each year for an annual photo-op too. Sometimes the parking is tricky because it's such a popular spot for weddings and picnics but it's worth the trip to see the gorgeous roses in June.

This park is so beautiful, especially in the height of the rose season. There are so many unbelievably gorgeous little areas to go relax and have a picnic, get married under a canopy of roses or just stroll and enjoy the beauty. Its a must see. There is a lovely restaurant, The Pond House where you also could enjoy a lovely lunch, dinner or plan an event such as a shower or wedding reception.
