Stuart and Jane are terrific hosts. The house itself is beautiful and our room was spotlessly clean and welcoming with the most amazing views. Breakfast was superb and nothing was too much trouble. A very relaxing and enjoyable weekend; we look forward to returning later in the year.

Room Tip: The views from the two front-facing rooms are amazing.

We visit Millport for a short break twice a year usually and the only place to stay is Westbourne House. The rooms are beautiful - bright airy and extremely clean with the best views imaginable! The breakfast is amazing and Stuart and Jane are lovely friendly hosts who make you feel extremely welcome. We just LOVE IT

Our family found a self -contained cottage to rent called Orchard Cottage , connected to Westbourne House, Isle of Cumbrae for one week this Summer. The view from the cottage was amazing- Islands in the distance. The cottage was superbly equipped, modern, extremely clean and very welcoming. Beds- two bedrooms- were comfortable beyond belief and a lovely bathroom with extra toilet room upstairs.
We felt very safe, totally content to do our own thing and so welcome by proprietors Stuart and Jane, who are there if you need anything.
The Island is so well serviced by the little ferry over to the mainland of Scotland. Everything felt spot on- we hadn't been back to Scotland for years so to find this perfect place was bliss. It wasn't long enough... we could have stayed for weeks.

Room Tip: The cottage is a delight- view to die for! So comfortable- what more can I say?

These guys would win.... hands down.

As always, beaming smiles to greet and great attention to detail.

Westbourne House is benchmark for many of the others on island to aspire to.

Thank you and see you again

Enjoyed a recent trip to Millport staying overnight in this clean and friendly B & B but thought breakfast on Sunday was a bit early between, 8.30 and 9 with room departure by 10. We found ourselves back out in wet and windy Millport at the back of 10 only to find that nothing was opening/happening till 12. As much as we enjoyed our stay, a more relaxed start to Sunday would have been most welcome.
