Paul's is all about pasta. There is pizza or veal on the menu. You can watch the fresh pasta being made in the window while you wait outside for a table. Dined here on a Sunday and there was a 25 minute wait because the pasta is popular and inexpensive. Basic red sauce here has a garlic kick to it. Portions are reasonable. View of waterfront is nice - mostly ferries across the bay in New London. Tables are a bit close together. Very casual. A nice place to go after you've had seafood for lunch. Off the beaten path, but only a few minutes off I95. Reminds one of Boves in Burlington, VT.
