“Great Value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2013

Paul's is all about pasta. There is pizza or veal on the menu. You can watch the fresh pasta being made in the window while you wait outside for a table. Dined here on a Sunday and there was a 25 minute wait because the pasta is popular and inexpensive. Basic red sauce here has a garlic kick to it. Portions are reasonable. View of waterfront is nice - mostly ferries across the bay in New London. Tables are a bit close together. Very casual. A nice place to go after you've had seafood for lunch. Off the beaten path, but only a few minutes off I95. Reminds one of Boves in Burlington, VT.

“Superb. Locals try to keep it a secret!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2013

We have been visiting Paul's for many years and it never disappoints. We recently went on a very busy Sat. night. There were 4 of us and we got 3 apps and 4 dinners. All were terrific. I highly suggest the homemade ravioli or lasagna. The portions are large (you may order small or large on most dishes) Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Be prepared to wait, no reservations, but so worth it.We waited for an outside table for 4 for @ 1 hour , on a very bustling summer Saturday night. Get a carafe of wine and wait outside on the deck.

“The best pasta ever + amazing water view + terrific service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

You probably can't get better fresh made pasta with a water view and terrific service at any place that could possibly exceed Paul's Pasta in my opinion! Everything here is delicious and comes in huge portions. Try the specials and of course there is the ample garlic bread served with most items too. The lasagna is epic in taste and proportions. The seafood items are really amazing too and the desserts are heavenly. Sit on the deck if you can and its a nice day for the most delightful right on the water experience. Staff is really dedicated and professional.

“Excellent Pasta! Excellent Service!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013

Visited Paul's after reading reviews on Trip Advisor......so glad we went, this is a must for anyone visiting the area. The service was friendly and prompt and the food is the best! I had the Spaghetti Pie (small order) only $7.99 but it can easily feed two, the portion was huge!! I can't say enough good things about Paul's Pasta Shop. Great location, Great service, Great Food! This is a must for everyone!
