Great place to bike and hike. Bring a picnic lunch, and your camera. If you hike to the end you can go for a swin and see some of the sea fowl.

“Excellent place to do all sorts of things!”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

I have walked to the point with my dog, with my family and I have kayaked to the point and beyond. I have also fished the bluff but didn't have a ton of luck until past the point. Just amazing views in and out of the water. A nice hike and family friendly, dog friendly and no fees.

“Beach and trail hiking .”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

It was great to be able to hike wooded trails and the beach all on the same trip . Walk along the beach line and search for shells to the end then return on the shaded trails or paths . Watch people as they ride their horses .

“One of America's top wild beaches”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

lovely shore front park great for fishing, biking and hiking. no lifeguards. free parking makes this park very popular on summer weekends come in the off season for peace and quite.
unusual feature of this park is it contains all 3 of the major beach types found in the USA sand spit, rocky head land and cobble stone beach. the cobble stone beach makes a great photo opt and there are good views of area lighthouses from the bluff.

“Easy Walk Pretty”

Lovely spring flowers, easy walk. Beware of poison ivy on side trails. Nice to walk along the water.
