Content is limited. Best to visit when they have a strong traveling exhibit. Nice location and easy access. Fun outdoor events

I took my two young children to this museum. As other reviewers have noted, this is a small museum and the exhibits can easily be covered in well under an hour. While I would not recommend driving from a great distance for this museum, should you have children, this museum can be part of a terrific day out with them (even though this isn't a "children's museum", if there are exhibits of interest. There is currently an exhibit on dinosaurs, and one all about eggs, plus there are permanent exhibitions with taxidermied animals and minerals. The small size of this museum and the lack of crowds means your children really get to see the exhibits, and by the time they are "museumed out" you have finished the exhibits! There is an EXCELLENT park, Bruce Park, directly across the street with multiple playground areas geared towards all age children. Combine these two activities and you have a really nice day out with the kids!

This is a great family museum, with lots to offer kids. We took our two grandsons (7 and 3) there to see their dinosaur and their egg exhibits. Both were small in comparison to other museums, but the kids loved the ability to walk right up to the exhibits with no crowds shoving them out of the way. The leisurely walked the museum's circle of exhibits and found lots to play with, including pull out drawers with various items in them. Just off I-95, at exit 3 in Greenwich, with free parking. We spent two hours wandering through the various exhibits and they kids have a great time.

Museum is on one floor, can been seen fairly quickly. One section closed for upcoming exhibit. Present exhibit of dinosaurs of china is very interesting, as was the minerals. The gift shop has a lot in a small space.

This is a lovely museum, right in Greenwich. However, the times I have been there I have found the exhibits a bit boring. Perhaps this was just my personal preference in art, but I thought it could use some big expansive show to give everything a bit of a jolt!
