“Cambridge House”
Reviewed April 12, 2013

This restaurant is much more than a brew pub. On-site made beers are available along with the old standards. Downstairs is the pub with seating for eating or just sharing a drink. There is an upstairs for larger parties or a quieter eating setting. The menu features home cooked fare, pizzas, salads and sandwich/wraps. There are also wonderful dessert choices. I have never been disappointed with a meal at the Cambridge House and highly recommend this restaurant.

“Great Brew Pub in Granby, CT”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

The Cambridge House Brew Pub is the perfect spot for chilling out with home cooked fare. On a Tuesday evening the bar was at capacity--this is definitely the place to meet with friends and family at the end of the day. It's clean, comfortable and has the homey pub atmosphere.

We ate in the dining area next to the bar which was less noisy and was perfect. Our waiter, Tyler, was very helpful in describing the hand crafted beer--very tasty. Starting with nachos of a huge proportion we also enjoyed the freshly made meatloaf and one of the best chicken pot pies ever. Do note that the chicken pot pie is a generous serving for at least two people. The menu has a lot of options from sandwiches, burgers, pizza and main course selections of the day.

The only negative thing I can note is the noise but also take into consideration that the bar and bar dining area was completely full. There is a large outdoor patio that I am sure in a nice place to be on a warm summer evening.

“Valleys only Brew Pub - Good Food and Great Beer”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

This is a local favorite. It's an old Inn converted to a restaurant - brew pub. There's a great feel to a brew pub bar area. This one is better than most. There are TVs all around to watch the Red Sox / NY Yankee, Bruins or Patriots game (and others). The U shapped bar and 6 or 8 tables seats half the town but feels intimate. The adjacent room is for those who don't want the more formal (not really) room upstairs but want casual but don't want the bar noise. Upstairs is a slightly more formal and quiet setting. The old Inn feel is still in all the areas. The food is rather basic but goof hanger steak, jumbo, fish and chips, steaks, and some pasta entre's. The kind of food you want when hungry or with a really good beer. Their beer is what it's really about. They usually have 5 to 6 of their own craft beers and others that are craft or local favorites on tap. You can get rich hoppie beers or mild german wheat beers, chockolate stout or the popular krolsh beer. Everyone is super friendly and it's always a great experience. If this were jsut a restaurant I would rate the food good but not great. But the beer, the service and the food together makes this excellent as long as you are looking for hearty food and great beer in a great venue. Come once and it will be your favorite.

“Good Food, Good beer, relaxed”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Good selection of their own brews along with some reasonably priced menu selections, Relaxed atmosphere typical of a brewpub with TV's, bar and tables. Clean, newly decorated ( because it's fairly new) and friendly.
