We all know Bertucci's. It's a chain but it's better than it has to be and better than you'd expect. Great atmosphere for a casual/affordable night for two or four or bring the kids. Between here and the one in Avon, I've probably eaten at Bertucci's 20-25 times. The dinner platters are inventive and tasty. The pizza is good. The salads beat the spread. Even the desserts are better than you'd expect. And then there's the hot, steaming, soft, tasty rolls you get at first. Yes. And you know what we do? We buy the pizza dough to go and make our own. The best dough you can buy. Make Bertucci's your dependable-last-minute-let's-go-out-with-the-kids-tonight place.

Bertucci's is a chain Italian restaurant where many come with families for a nice inexpensive lunch or dinner. The ambiance is lively, the service efficient and predictable, the kids love it because they like the food and get to play with pizza dough.
Lunches are especially valuable as you get unlimited delicious salad and fresh baked rolls (these also at dinner).
Now the food. I'm Italian and moved to the States more than ten years ago. At Bertucci's I almost always go for pizza because it's really as close as you can get to that I was used to have in Italy. By far it's the best in the area. We also get appetizers and other dishes and the ingredients are very fresh, particularly all vegetables. There's always something in the menu that we end up loving.

Went in on a tuesday evening at 8:00PM and had horrible experience. Everyone was cleaning and talking to each other but nobody was interested in waiting on us. When they did it took an hour and a half to have pizza. Everything was dragged out because they were busy cleaning.

Good Food. Excellent prices. Nice atmosphere but they go through a lot of staff. Never have the same servers. They don't last long. Welcome at hostess station is somewhat cold.

We ordered a pitcher of red sangria expecting a fruity, sweet wine drink. It tasted like watered down dry, red wine. In fact, the first sip was shocking. Our waiter was extremely attentive and eager to please. He brought it back to the bar where the bartender confirmed that it was as she usually makes it. The waiter brought the white sangria. It also had no fruit or sweet taste. It tasted like watered down lemonade without the sweetener.
