“Good Food. Good Scene. Bad Service. Even Horrible Manager.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2014

Went to Rooftop 120 with a group of friends to celebrate. We first entered the establishment and had to walk trough the restaurant in order to go to outside; there were no people inside (customers nor employees). We went outside and were not even greeted at the post. Waited a minute for a host to sit us at the table. The waitress did a great job explaining the menu very well. The major problem was that she took 20 minutes to bring us our drinks. Then she would disappear for another 15 minutes, serve our drinks, disappear again, take our order, dissapear again. It felt like I was at a Las Vegas magic show for all the times she disappeared. It clearly felt like we were being ignored. The "kicker" of the night was that when we were about to pay our bill, the wind actually blows our credit card and falls between the wooded flooring, with no way to get the credit cards out. The waitress explains that "this happens all the time"... Well if this happens all the time, then why dont they put signs stating to be aware of your belongings due to windy conditions. We had no way of paying the bill, so the general manager named STEVE told us to leave our license and phone number with them and pay it back. I didnt find an issue with paying the bill, but I didnt like how he was not showing hospitality for our trouble of having to go out of our way to come back and pay the bill another day. It was a complete hassle. General Manager STEVE blatantly lied to my face saying that he could not compensate a portion of the meal, saying that the machine doesnt allow him to do that. Showing no gesture. STEVE obviously did not care for our business. I dont plan on returning to this establishment. The food and drinks were good. If you do plan on going to eat there, make sure your credit card or cash doesnt get blown away and fall between the wood flooring.

“Great Outdoor Seating”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 1, 2014

The Rooftop 120 is a great place to mix and mingle with friends. They have a great bar area and the outdoor seating is wonderful. We went on a Sunday evening for dinner and the service was excellent. The food was good, the menu is broad and the drinks are not watered down.

“Jersey Shore in CT”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2014

If you're looking to meet a Snookie or Situation wannabe - you've come to the right place. This place could not be any cheesier or more Jersey Shore-esque. The clientele is classless. The food isn't much better. Incredibly over priced and not very good. And it is quite obvious that the desserts are all frozen. Nothing is homemade. And the servers aren't very concerned with customer satisfaction. When the bartender made the wrong drinks for our table the waitress brought them over and asked if we would just drink them anyway! How about you make what we orederd???
Its a shame because the space is fantastic. Great open air rooftop location completely ruined. Will never go back.

“Drinks and appetizers on June 26”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2014 via mobile

Spent 3 excellent hours eating and drinking with many colleagues. Drink selection was excellent, food choices great and presentation and quality spot on. The waiter was 100% on top of things and kept a large party with food and drink at all times and 100% correct against all orders. View from bar was great and we were fortunate to find parking as we arrived prior to 5pm - others arriving later had more issues, so get there early for best choice and superb prices for Happy Hour! So, if you want a great place to go for drinks, appetizers, lively crowd and great service in Glastonbury, come to Rooftop 120

“Cool Venue - Poor Service”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2014

Went to the Rooftop for happy hour with friends. Waitress took orders, never mentioning that wines friends had ordered were not on the happy hour menu (they had HH menus in hand). Got the bill and were shocked at the total. When we spoke to the manager, we asked why a waitress wouldn't tell us which wines were and were included on menu. Also asked why waitress wouldn't offer a bottle instead if multiples were being ordered. Manager was not pleasant and even argued with us. Too bad, because it is a cool atmosphere (although atmosphere changes drastically from HH to nighttime). Waitresses and Manager need additional training.
