We went to Max fish trying to get into the Happy Hour early dinner menu. Was mobbed at 4pm! We decided to stay for dinner anyway. We ordered the Bouillabaisse, Swordfish, Ahi Tuna and a Black Ink Squid dish over pasta. All were very delicious but not very large. we had coffee and shared a creme brulee for desert which was very creamy and good. Our waitress was pleasant, efficient and attentive. Max Fish is a good place, very busy but expect to pay a premium to eat there.

If choosing between one of the Max restaurants in Glastonbury, I usually choose Max Fish. They do a nice job on seafood. Food is always good quality. Prices are not bad for the area. Parking is better than most restaurants in the area, as well.

This place has the best happy hour menu ! Clam chowder to die for. Fresh creamy and full of clams, buck a shuck oysters, also very fresh . I'm not a drinker but I did have two Pomagranate margarita. And the happy hour price was only $5. The scallops were also really good. We ordered drinks and a whole assortment of apps and it was a fun alternative to a regular dinner meal. I 100% recommend going to Max Fish.

Brought friends who love their fish, and they were not disappointed! I loved my lobster pot roast on butternut squash risotto. The 1 downspot was how -tiny- my husband's portion of salmon was.

Knowledgeable, friendly server helped make up for the awkward table they seated us at... and the rye(!) rolls in the bread basket.
