Okay, it's technically NY Style Pizza. I was 7 when I moved to Connecticut from Jersey City, NJ and it seems like the further you move up north of the U.S. the worse the pizzas get or at least that was my perception as a kid. I had a craving for pizza one day in 1996 or 1997. My boss suggested I buy locally rather than buying it from my hometown next door in Plainville. (He's quirky; what can I say?) So, I looked through the phone book and decided to give Naples Pizza a chance. After I ate the entire pie, I fell in love. I felt like 7 again. I called them up as soon as I finished and I expressed my deepest thanks to the girl on the phone. The owner, Kurt, is an absolute sweetheart. Even though we live a little further away, my husband and I regard our trip to Naples as our date night. It's worth the car trip and the price is good.
