A small, crowded Japanese restaurant on Fairfield's busy Post Road, Fin is not bad...and not so good either. The dishes, when they come from the kitchen helter-skelter in no particular dining order and served by hovering waitresses, are not all bad; some are even quite tasty. But the endless menus and overambitious offerings are confusing; they need to simplify and perfect their offerings. The long sushi roll I ordered was too complex to do well, and it was a bit mushy to eat. The owners need to do more work to improve their standing among many Asian restaurants in the area.
