This was my second visit to the restaurant (six couples celebrating my wife's birthday) and it exceeded my first, very good, visit. The service we received was top notch, attentive without being overbearing. Also, Michael himself came over a couple of times to make sure everything was good; knowing that this was a birthday celebration he even placed a liquer bottle on the table and told us it was on the house. As for the food, it was uniformly excellent. I started with a thick mushroom soup that was delicious, and most of us ordered the 8 oz. steak au poivre, each one cooked as order, served with asparagus and mashed potato. One of us order the porterhouse medium rare and it too was terrific. The bacon appetizer is delicious and easily shareable, as are the onions and the lobster mac and cheese. To wash it all down we ordered a couple of bottles of their house cabernet which is quite tasty. If you have room for dessert just remember that are sizable and shareable. All in, including cocktails and wine, the bill was $100/pp, well worth it for the experience and quality. The restaurant is fairly small with a lively car scene so reservations are highly recommended.
