Decided on BBQ so went into Porky's. Ordered the Porky platter. After asking if all the meats on the menu was 'pulled' and if the beef was brisket, he replied "brisket." After driving several miles and finding a parking lot to stop and taste the rations, I realized the meat was indeed not brisket but shredded beef that looked like hairs of grass and tasted like cardboard. Hey Porky, "Next time a new customer comes in that doesnt know your menu, try understanding what the customer wants before giving them what you want to give them." Needless to say, I took it back to West Hartford, where I was staying, and fed the entire meal to my 2yr old pet boxer. He seemed to like it with the exception of mashed potatos and cole slaw. Try letting a city boy get some country food for a change. The cole slaw was ok, but in the corn bread I could taste every ingredient down to the yeast. Wont repeat. No seating except picnic area and it happened to be raining that particular day. Good for locals but not for out-of-towners.
