“Great, as always”
Reviewed November 17, 2011

I've stayed in several Hampton Inns. They are always great: clean, comfortable, good service. This one is at the edge of a mall with restaurants but they are easy to walk to and we were able to walk to find a good place to eat after our four hour drive. The staff are friendly and helpful, the beds very comfortable, and the place immaculate. I'd stay here, again, in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: Every time I've stayed in a Hampton Inn the room has been really good: quiet, comfortable and cl...

Just a quick note before leaving this Hampton Inn tomorrow morning to let other travelers know how poorly managed this property seems to be. First, my wife called the hotel at least a couple times before we arrived last Wednesday to see if they'd be able to place a small refrigerator in our room to keep her medicine to the required temperature. Each time they seemed to assure her this wouldn't be a problem. In fact, even upon our arrival the clerk confirmed a refrigerator was there. But upon reaching our room: no refrigerator! Back down to the clerk who eventually explained he'd misread the onscreen entry, offering to place our container in the hotel refrigerator but not able to tell us when if at all during our five day stay we'd be able to have one in our room. Next morning the clerk on duty said the same. And that evening before returning to our room the desk clerk told us they hadn't yet been able to get us a refrigerator only for us to pleasantly discover one there when we reached our room.

Reflecting similar disorganization and lack of concern, each evening we've returned to our room to find insufficient towels, forcing us to call down to the desk each time and request new ones and delaying our retiring each night after a hectic day. You'd think someone would have gotten the message after the second or third time but with our fourth call for new towels this evening even the hotel employee who brought them didn't seem interested when I began explaining the extent of our towel problem as he quickly slipped away.

Meantime, I could complain about the eggs (badly in need of improvement) and other food at the complimentary breakfast but it's likely more important I first warn you of how I didn't even want to touch the cut fruit for how overripe and spoiled it looked (although my wife unfortunately tasted it).

And if you need any further evidence, just call down for a couple of wake-up calls spaced 15 minutes apart and see if they always bother giving you that second call you're expecting (and depending on). As for us, we didn't always get it!

So does all that sound like adequate reason to look for a room someone else? I can tell you next time we're in the area, we won't be staying here!

Stayed here two years ago as well as this trip to Mass. Rooms couldn't be any cleaner, employees pleasant and professional but I was a little dissapointed due to a roll away bed I asked for taking 45 minutes to get to the room. We had reserved two rooms, which were thankfully right next to each other (I forgot to ask for this). Not the hotel's fault but the view outside was of the roof of another part of the hotel and the elevators next to the room were noticible but not overwhelmingly so. Bed was soft and TV a flatscreen. Breakfast came with plenty of choices and staff was working hard to make sure supply met demand. Pool area clean and a pleasure to use. Parking plentiful and well lit. Hotel right off the highway and there were stores and restaurants in the immediate area (no highway noise heard in the rooms we had stayed). We will definitly stay here when in the area again.

Beautiful hotel indoor and out. Large, well appointed rooms. Clean chairs. The do have very nice, helpful staff. With 5 floors of guests, one would think the hotel would have more than one waffle iron when there is a slew of people waiting in the morning...the line got to be 6 people deep.
On Friday night, we arrived at 11 pm hoping for a cup of coffee......the decaf was cold and at the bottom of the pot....Shouldn't the hotel make sure coffee is hot and inviting all hours if the hotel advertises 24 hour coffee service.....some travelers look forward to this amenity.
I wanted hot cocoa but there were no packages for hot chocolate Friday or Saturday. When I asked about cookies, I was told they don't have time on the weekend.....Again- it's little things that disappoint a traveler.....
Rooms are large and well laid out...the towels are somewhat thin, lightweight, and newer, less threadbear towels should be on this hotel's wish list for Xmas.A little disappointing for what one spends on a room per night.

This is the second time my wife and I stayed here (our previous stay was 18 months ago) and is now the only place we stay when in the area. Everything about the hotel is very good. The staff was pleasant, our rooms were large both times and our king-size beds have been excellent. The hotel is very quiet, yet is very convenient to I-91, many restaurants and shopping centers.

Our room was very clean, our bath area was an adequate size with a large granite counter top with room for lots of toiletries. The only thing unusual from the many other Hampton Inns we have stayed in is that rooms with king-size beds have only showers, no tubs.

The hotel has both wired and wireless Internet access. We used the wired access in our room and it worked fine

Breakfast is the typical Hampton Inn breakfast with several hot items and a nice variety of other items to suit both children and adults. The eating area, however, is small for the size of the hotel and it can be difficult to find a place to sit when the hotel is full.

We definitely will stay here again if we're in the area again and would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

Stayed here for one night after a day at six flags. Great value for money and the rooms were of a good size. Good buffet style breakfast. Small gym entertained my teenage son for a couple hours at the end of the day as well. There are plenty of restaurants close by. Wouldn't look anywhere else if you want a reasonably priced hotel close to the theme park.

The hotel seemed pretty new, the rooms were standard for a mid price hotel. everything was very clean, the staff were friendly, they offer free wi-fi and a swimminig pool and fitness centre. Hampton Inn could certainly make it's breakfast offering better - hate those plastic omlettes - but I would certainly stay here again if I was visiting Six Flags theme park. There is a massive mall/cinema complex next door to keep shoppers and kids happy. It only loses a star because of the naff omlettes/bagels and we got put in a room on the top floor with a noisy air conditioner above us. This was a shame as the desk clerk had several rooms available and said the top floor would be nicer. I'd suggest they fill noise affected rooms last.
