They only do 3 productions per year and each is a restaging of classic musical. Try Chester for dining.

We have been to several productions here and it's always an occasion to get dressed up for. The production company is quite professional. Every production I have seen here has been pure pleasure. Dinner nearby is also an unexpected treat.

Settled in a quaint New England town of East Haddem Ct. lies a jewel of and small theater, dedicated to the preservation of Musical Broadway shows. The casts are first rate, the productions are full and complete, the direction, choreography and the design is always splendid. Every time we see a production we marvel how they can put so much onto the postage stamp size stage. There is nothing small about the productions. Seating in the orchestra level is the best seating. The live show orchestra adds so much more to each production. There is also an elevator to get you to the orchestra level if you need assistance. They operate from April through November or December. Give yourself a treat!

The setting itself is delightful for this beautiful little theater set on the river bank that produces wonderful musicals. The singing and dancing is always a treat. The costumes are well done and the staging is often ingenious! Go and enjoy! I have been a regular subscriber for over 10 years and recommend it highly.

Small, intimate theater that evokes simpler times. We recently saw Carousel, and it was a great production with strong voices and good acting. Not a bad seat in the house. What a great thing to do on a late summer day!
