First of all, I have to be honest. I hated to spend a significant amount of money in Connecticut due to that state's overreaction to a shooting by seeking to take away God-given, Constitutionally-guaranteed rights from law-abiding American citizens. But I was in the middle of a trip home from the Northeast and had I not stayed here or back in the Hartford area, would have either been all the way back east in overpriced Worcester, Mass. or well into New Jersey. So I basically had to spend the night in Connecticut and unfortunately, ended up buying my most expensive gas of the trip here.
That all being said, this hotel was a decent value for the money and was actually quite comfortable. The hall was a bit iffy, but the room was immaculate. Very clean, comfortable bed, average shower water pressure, fast wi-fi, good refrigerator. Slept past the breakfast deadline and didn't partake. Two Dunkin Donuts and a McDonald's nearby; don't know about other dining choices.
This was a popular overnight spot for travelers. Saw vehicles from as far away as Texas and North Dakota in the parking lot.
I'd probably stay here again if forced to overnight in Connecticut, which I hope never to do again.
