Stopped in for a late lunch with dad and was pleasantly surprised at both the selection and taste of everything we ate. First of all, the Hot & Sour soup was flat out the best that we ever had... and we have had lots of it. The pork dumplings and dim-sum were very good as was the accompanying dipping sauce. Spicy but not salty, just as it should be. Most of what was on the buffet was the same as you would find elsewhere, except the food here definitely tasted better. We both enjoyed the Chow Mei Fun, General Tso's Chicken, Sliced Pork with Mushrooms, Sauteed String Beans, Hot Pepper Chicken and BBQ Spare Ribs. The ribs were moist and meaty as opposed to dried out as you often find them on buffets. Lots of other main course offerings that we did not try, including King Crab Legs and Fresh Grilled Streaks. For those of you who like to start your meal off with a salad, the salad bar here was plentiful, clean and well-stocked. After dinner you had your choice of a large variety of cakes, cookies, fresh fruit, jello, pudding and at least 6 varieties of ice cream. If we ever find ourselves back in the Danbury area again, we will make it a point to stop by for a bite.
