Really takes some effort to find this place. Lobby looks like an office building. Rooms are "nice" enough. Very modern clean edges(cold feeling). Found an article of clothing from a previous guest left in room. Not a great cleaning job. The beds are as hard as a rock. Did not sleep well. Some kind of function was going on with free drinks so the lobby was very noisy and crowded. Over all not impressed with this place at all. Staff at front desk almost seemed lost and not very welcoming. Hotel overall tried for that cutting edge look and just didn't pull it off.

This is a fine hotel, however, as a couple of people have already noted, it can be difficult to find. We finally stopped and asked directions (last resort, even with the hotel map and instruction). The instruction which worked for us: after taking exit 8 from I-84 going west turn right immediately after the first set of traffic lights. (Note that this is a 90 degree turn. There is a sharper right turn at the same corner.) Look for the "Outback" sign, it's much more visible than the hotel sign. If you get to the gas stations, you have gone too far. Circle around and try again. This is a very complex intersection but, after staying at several different hotels in and around Danbury, I would say that it is definitely worth the effort to find it.

New hotel that even had a recliner in our room. After a long day of traveling, it was nice for my husband to relax in the recliner. At check-in we received a coupon for a free appetizer at the Outback attached to the hotel. It was handy to be able to walk right next door to go to eat. The directions given with the reservation were a little confusing, but since we don't use a GPS, it wasn't that bad to find. It was definitely worth the trouble to find it. We did have to turn around to go back to the hotel because making a sharp left turn after exiting did not look easy to do. We usually stay at LaQuinta's because they allow pets. We didn't have our poodle with us this time, but we usually do. We have used several free nights by belonging to the Rewards program. We also enjoy the free breakfast and love the Belgian waffles that you fix yourself.

Just like another reviewer posted, our GPS could not find this place. The only difference is that our GPS landed us at a Dunkin Donuts instead of Outback Steakhouse. We came north on I=84. Maybe it's easier from other directions. But La Quinta really needs to improve the directions on its web site. We consulted the site and it didn't help at all. There's a spaghetti mess of roads in front of this place. We found it by accident after driving around for awhile. Being lost in the dark after a long drive is a really, really bad experience. At least it wasn't raining, sleeting, snowing, etc.

Cons: GPS couldn't seem to zone in on it. (Put in Outback Steak House-ROUTE 6) Bed was a bit soft. Pool needs to get up and running.
Pros: Too many to list. Really nice. Yolanda at the Breakfast area was delightful. Check out is at noon. We'll be staying here again for sure.
