We stayed here for one night after driving all day it was a nice comfortable room. Hotel staff was pleasant and courteous. Breakfast was great, they were constantly refilling everything. I will be staying here again in a few weeks. Looking forward to it.

The best compliment that we can have is that a guest will be back! We’re happy you took advantage of our complimentary continental breakfast to start your day and that you found it plentiful. In January, we did add some additional hot items to the breakfast, so it is nice to hear our guests enjoy it. We are so glad to see you enjoyed your overnight stay with us and we will see you in a few weeks.

Safe Travels.

The staff are among the best I've seen anywhere: very courteous, professional and genuinely helpful. The hotel is only a couple of years old but must be very well maintained as it still looks brand new. I stayed in two different rooms during my 5 day stay. The rooms were extremely clean and quiet, nicely decorated, beds were comfortable, air conditioning and heat worked great, outstanding water pressure in bathroom, tons of desk space. The free high speed internet was super fast, the fastest speed I've seen at any hotel! I even confirmed the internet speed on speedtest.net. Great hot and cold breakfast with plentiful fresh fruit, with delicious hot coffee, unlike so many hotels where the coffee is strong and bitter. An Outback Steakhouse is right next to the hotel. Free USA today. Two computers with printers available free of charge. Extremely convenient a few hundred yards off of I-84. One of my favorite hotels to stay at.

Room Tip: There are rooms with pool view. East facing rooms on 3rd, 4th and 5th floors have nice views.

As we are getting closer to our three year anniversary, we appreciate you recognizing how clean, comfortable and well maintained our hotel is. During the week breakfast begins at 6:00AM and starts at 7:00AM on weekends. While we do serve a continental breakfast, we’re happy to serve our Belgian Waffle station, scrambled eggs and sausage along with assorted breads and bagels, cereals, oatmeal, yogurt and fresh fruit. I’m glad our Breakfast Attendant was able to assist in accommodating your request. Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again soon!

Safe Travels.

This was my second stay in Danbury and I was not disappointed. My room was located convenient to the front door, the bed and linens were very nice and once again, the bathroom and shower were superb. The Outback Steakhouse is connected to the hotel so you needn't even go back outside to have dinner. The property is confusing and looks like it might have been a convention center at one time; there are two large wings or buildings that are not occupied and seem to be used for storage. Not a complaint, simply an observation.
This is not an easy hotel to locate, be sure and listen to your gps carefully or map your route ahead of time; Danbury has more one way streets that you can imagine and I became very lost, just during rush hour traffic. After twenty frustrating minutes of driving in circles back on the interstate and off three times, I phoned the hotel asking for assistance. "Dillon" at the front desk was a life saver; he gave me the most concise and precise directions that avoided all traffic and got me to the hotel in less than 8 minutes. Management take notice please; this young man is very very good at his job. My only complaint is that there is absolutely no decent place to walk your dog.....the parking lot is usually full in the evening, lots of trash from Outback's customers, difficult to navigate. But the hotel is very, very good.

We thank you, not only for being a loyal La Quinta guest, but sharing a review of your time spent with us. We are glad you found you room accommodations tidy and comfortable. Since our opening in July of 2010 we have been trying to remedy the challenges we face with our location. Not only are we located on a one way street, adjacent to a large rotary, but this does seem to cause confusion and misdirection with GPS systems as well. We share the frustration and will continue to work on a solution. Though we do apologize for the initial annoyance this caused, I’m glad Dylan was able to guide you to our door easily. We do encourage conversing with our Front Desk team, as we're all able to recommend great local dining and attractions along with providing the easiest roads, often less travelled, to take in town.

We look forward to seeing you again the next time your travels bring you to our area.

We stayed one night as a stop-over on a road trip. The front-desk staff was very helpful, printing out information about a local attraction for us. It was nice to have a full breakfast right in the hotel, and the woman refreshing the breakfast foods was very helpful and cheerful. The room was very clean, nice place to set up a computer, with plugs in the desk lamp, and free internet.

I was in Danbury for one night recently. I chose to stay at the La Quinta Inn and Suites Danbury based solely on their Trip Advisor rating. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. I especially liked the leather recliner in the room and plenty of desk space. I wish the electrical outlets more easily accessible to the desk area. I had to get on my hands and knees under the desk to plug in my laptop, but at least an outlet was there. Breakfast was the usual fare: scrambled eggs and sausage patties in steamer trays, Belgium waffles, cold cereal, bagels, english muffins and toast as well as coffee, tea and juice. The dining area was spacious, replenished frequently and clean. Other reviewers mentioned that the hotel was somewhat difficult to find and I had the same difficulty. Anticipating this problem made it easier to locate. It is attached to the Outback Restaurant which also made it easier to find. I recommend this hotel without any hesitation and will stay there again when I return to Danbury.

Needing a hotel in the Danbury area, we picked the La Quinta based on the combination of price and the many previous positive reviews and we were not disappointed. The room was very clean with a nice compact design, comfortable bed, and good temperature control. Check-in was handled efficiently and cheerfully. We were meeting others for breakfast further on up the road so I can't comment one way or the other on the hotel breakfast. There is an Outback attached to the hotel so there is a very convenient dinner option if you need one. The only small negative was the parking -- the lot winds around hotel a little awkwardly and is not that well lit in some spots. Overall, though, it was a very positive experience and if we return to Danbury we will most likely use this La Quinta.

We’re so glad you chose our hotel based on the reviews here on Trip Advisor and are thankful for the time you spent to comment on your stay with us on this forum. We’re happy you found our accommodations clean and comfortable and found our staff efficient and cheerful. I will have our Maintenance Department check on the lighting as that is both a safety and security issue- Thank you for bringing that to our attention. We look forward to seeing you again the next time your travels bring you to the Greater Danbury area.
