We found this an acceptable place to stay during our stay in danbury visiting relatives. Found the Wi-Fi did not work very well during our stay and was very surprised at this. We always stay at the Ethan Allen when passing through Danbury. While the room décor is a bit "tired", there are planned renovations to begin in October. Easels in the lobby display the story boards and colors. The beds are always super comfortable and we look forward to how well we sleep while there. We had a very small housekeeping issue which was handled very professionally by the front desk manager and the general manager. We could not have been happier with the customer service. There is a delicious breakfast buffet for about $11; two types of scrambled eggs, applewood bacon, link sausages, potatoes, French toast, oatmeal and a variety of juices and breakfast breads. They have happy hour specials and live music on weekends, which we did not experience, as we were there on week night. Also a pool. The location is convenient off I-84. Will deserve a higher than excellent rating after renovations!

A classy but not super-luxury. And that was more than fine with me. Very pleasant and airy hotel. I had a very cozy and comfortable king suite and slept in THE MOST COMFORTABLE KING SIZE BED I'VE EVER SLEPT IN A HOTEL, EVER. Also very good food for a hotel (not over-the-top, just well-prepared chow). Looking forward to seeing the rest of the renovations.

Came to visit a family friend for a 4th of July Party. Very impressed with the start of the new renovations. Lovely accommodations. Comfortable beds, nice hot shower, very easy check in and out. Wish we had a refrigerator, however the Keureg coffee maker was a very nice touch. The next time we come to visit our friends, we will surely stay at the Ethan Allen!

we were there for one night. the rooms were decent size. they have breakfast in the am. checkout is at 11. plenty of parking. decent size pool and nice furniture in the lobby. they had cookies and a fresh drink when we checked in. also has free wi fi.

Room nice. No refrigerator but Krups coffee maker nice touch. The bed made my back hurt badly, but that just be me. Only legitimate complaint was air conditioner very loud. My hubby and I kept thinking it was pouring down rain with the noise it was making.
