“Great Place to have a cup of coffee”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

Driving down Route one in Connecticut, you will want to stop at Malone's Coffee shop, nice old brick building that houses a two part coffee shop. we had our coffee in the room near the Baristas. The other room adds a whole added dimension to place being so large, but intimate. The coffee was very good, along with a tasty breakfast sandwich. I will be going back there in the near future, even though they do not have WI-FI at this time, do not understand why a business wouldn't have it today for their customers.

“SOOOO CUTE AND COZY”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

I Was at the outlet center and stopped in on a shopping break for a very delicious lunch. VERY attentive service and quite an adorable environment. I will remember this place for breakfast or lunch the next time I am in the area.

“Pleasant place to relax...”
Reviewed June 17, 2012

sit outside and enjoy your salad or sandwich. Place your order, choose your table and your selection will be served to you. But you clean up and toss the soiled dishes inside. Many sandwiches to choose from; the grilled cheese was hot, the cheese melted - all served on panini bread but it was nothing special. The grilled chicked salad looked substantial but mostly lettuce with a couple of thin slices of tomato and a handful of croutons. The cubed chicken looked to be a packaged variety; don't know for certain. Choice of dressing is served on the side.

“A local refuge”
Reviewed May 7, 2012 via mobile

Malone's occupies the ground floor in the former Clinton Library. It is now a local hangout. It serves mostly sandwiches, pastries and coffee. Nothing reslly except for good coffee. The main room (counter, vitrines with pastries) is the busy one with little tables and high uncomfortable chairs. The surprise is the front room: large, squishy chairs and sofas. Local art work. A little dusty but a place of quiet.

Why go to Malone's? Because it is there and everything is OK. And because it is as close to a coffee shop to be found in Clinton.
